Ridgewood House is a private residential home in the heart of Newbold. We are registered with the Care Quality commission. The registered manager is Lorraine Grippo.
Ridgewood House opened in 1988 and we provide residential care and accommodation for 20 service users. All our service users are treated as individuals with respect and dignity. We promote choice and independence.
We have an excellent care team of long term staff who have updated training regularly to ensure your family member is in good hands.
We have a keyworker system in place, which promotes good relationships between staff and service user.
Relatives are welcome to visit at any time as we appreciate it is not always possible for people to visit during the day.
No appointment is necessary to have a look round our home, you can pop in and we will be happy to chat with you.

Lorraine Grippo brings over 34 years of dedicated care experience to Ridgewood House. As our Care Home Manager, she is deeply committed to ensuring every resident lives a life of dignity, choice, and joy. Lorraine believes in fostering a true family atmosphere where residents feel at home and their families have complete peace of mind, knowing their loved ones are in compassionate hands.
